SAN DIMAS – Southern California shooters will have a new toy store when American Shooting Sports in San Dimas has its grand opening, and it looks like it’s going to be a great time. That event is slated for May 16 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m) and along with deals, sales, specials and an incredible raffle, the celebration will be one that illustrates the vibe of this new gun store which will be unique to all others.
The owner of American Shooting Sports is Jordon Hirschi, a 22-year shooting industry veteran who’s on a mission to maintain a casual, fun, relaxed environment that doesn’t exist in most gun shops. All staffers are accomplished shooters, but avoiding that intimidation feeling customers can feel the second they enter most gun stores is clearly a top concern for Hirschi.
American Shooting Sports will specialize in pistols and shotguns, but Hirschi told Western Outdoor News that anyone looking for any firearm or accessory can expect them to track it down via special order or otherwise. Customer service is another top priority, and Hirschi is confident that everyone from first timers to long timers will feel right at home. The shop will also offer consignment guns, private-party transfers and imports and exports of firearms ammo and more, Any new firearm purchased at American Shooting Sports also carries a 30-day return policy, and pre-owned guns feature a 3-day inspection period.
As for the grand opening, along with special pricing and great deal, American Shooting Sports is holding a raffle for a Beretta A400 XCEL, Springfield Armory Echelon Gear Pac or a Smith and Wesson 586. Grand Opening attendees get a raffle entry by simply jotting down their name and email, and additional entries can be made with the purchase of a T-shirt (no limit). Food and drinks will also be on hand, so it’s just going to be an all-around great time for any shooters (or non-shooters for that matter) that stop by.
Jordon Hirschi will make sure of it.
