SAN DIMAS – The Grand Opening of the American Shooting Sports retail shore was a great venue to attend. Western Outdoor News attended the event along with hundreds of other shooting sports and gun enthusiasts. Attendees were a mixed group of gun folks and families and everyone talked about how nice the store was laid out and the wide variety of quality shotgun, premium firearms and pistols that were displayed in glass gun cabinets and show-cased on the walls.

CHECKING OUT A HK PISTOL – Factory representative Christian Larsen, of Owen J. Brown and Associates, points out the finer features of HK VP9 A1 F, 9 mm, pistol, to Ken White of Monrovia.

The store was well staffed with a knowledgeable sales crew along with firearms representatives. There appeared to be an equal number of customers that were interested in handguns and some took a long look at high-end shotguns. There were specials, great deals on firearms and a raffle of 3 guns. There was plenty of great food available as well as custom T-shirts
Store owner, Jordan Hirschi, has over 22 years of experience working in gun related fields, retail sales and customer relations.
WON asked Hirschi how he hoped to build the reputation of his gun store.

“Our goal is to provide excellent customer service to all gun enthusiasts. We will focus on being able to offer something in the shooting sports industry to everyone. We will specialize in shotgun shooting sports, target firearms and competition pistols, but will also offer full service on all firearms related products. We also will offer a gunsmithing service for most all long guns, high-end shotguns, revolvers and premium firearms,” said Hirschi.
