At this point, most anglers are using braided line to some degree, and manufacturers have moved on to creating specialized braid for specific applications if not gear. P-Line has always been on the forefront of innovation when it comes to fishing line as well as lures, accessories and more, and one of it’s latest innovations in the braid department is P-Line Spin-X Braid.
Formulated specifically for spinning reels, Spin-X is constructed of 8-carriers of fiber which results in a long- casting, easy-handling braid that flies off the spool and sliced through the water on the sink. Also contributing to those performance attributes is the fact that Spin X Braid was not heat treated or coated in any way resulting in a slick and soft feel and even longer casts since that line zips off a reel’s spool with minimal friction on the way out.
P-Line Spin-X Braid also features a color change (alternating from hi-vis blue to hi-vis orange) every meter. Those color changes allow the angler to easily see the line regardless of weather conditions making strike detection even easier than when fishing with a single-color line. Knots stay locked down in the smallest diameters, the strength is there, and it could be argued that P-Line Spin X Braid is the ultimate finesse braid.
