ANAHEIM— The annual Toy Drive 3 event produced by the Cast and Crank podcast went down on December 3 at Chain Reaction in Anaheim. Almost 50 sponsors helped power a still-young but quickly growing annual event that delivers a lot of positivity leading up to the Christmas holiday.

“The event went great,” said Nick Trujillo of Cast and Crank. “We collected 500 toys and raised $2,000 so far. We still have an online raffle, so hopefully we can raise some more.”

Toy Drive 3 was significantly expanded to featured more vendors – each of which donated products for the raffle – live music and food. Attendees were asked to donate a toy worth about $15 for entry, and each of those was donated to the CHiPs for Kids toy drive.

It’s a fun event that continues to grow, and it’s worth giving the Cast and Crank Podcast a listen and follow them on social media so you see it coming in 2024.

“It was great to see the fishing community, swimbaiters and industry support for such a great event that garnishes thousands of dollars of Christmas presents for kids,” said WON BASS Tournament Director, Billy Egan, who attended the event.
