Marina Del Rey Sportfishing

Marina Del Rey Sportfishing is located along the eastern side of the harbor and has live bait available conveniently dockside. Within Santa Monica Bay, target fish for their ½-day and ¾-day boats are rockfish, and when nature provides, barracuda, bass, yellowtail and bonito, too. The 3/4-day boat, Spitfire, heads out to Catalina Island regularly when the bass and yellowtail are biting there. While known for its epic seasonal barracuda bite, the Santa Monica Bay rockfish option has become so good that it’s been awfully hard to pass up. Sand bass fishing is also a regular option and twilight anglers generally have the best shot. This landing’s boats pick up anglers at dock 52, just up the channel from the main landing office.
