Free line on new reels the show’s most popular promotion for the second year

The 2025 Pacific Coast Sportfishing show is in the books and what a whirlwind of a show it was. Optimism for the 2025 season from Anglers we spoke to is at an all-time high. We talked with thousands of people about their adventures in 2024 as well as their plans for making more memories in 2025.
In 2024, we had an awesome promotion and wound a lot of Berkley line on 1,005 new reels so anglers of all types could be sure they were starting off on the right foot with good quality line wound onto their new reels by professionals. Through the course of 2024, we had quite a bit of feedback from the folks we wound line for. They mentioned the fish they caught as well as how much they liked the line.
We learned a lot from angler feedback last year, so this year we set out to go big and service more customers with more staff, more line machines and more line. That effort led us to double our output for 2025, resulting in 2,080 reels wound with Berkley line. Berkley ProSpec Chrome Braid was our number one line these last two years. Repeat customers this year asked for it by name, which was awesome to hear.
